WebCherokee Nation W. W. Hastings Hospital. Originally an Indian Health Service hospital, W. W. Hastings opened in 1936 on what has since been annexed into Northeastern State University Campus. In 1984 the hospital moved to its current location on Bliss Avenue and has undergone several expansion projects to serve the growing patient population.
