The biggest difference IMO between the VMT and VT is voicing. They are voiced completely differnt. The VT is in the vein of Ampeg. The VMT has its own (Darkglass) flavor. It is a pretty light OD and some love it, some dont. Same with the VT, I think it has much more gain on tap than the VMT does.
